Please join us in welcoming Dr. Edward Jauch for our Grand Rounds lecture on Wednesday September 12, 2018 at 12:00pm in the MCHC Auditorium. He will be delivering a lecture titled “Stroke Care for the Emergency Physician: How We Got Here and Where We Are Going.”
Dr. Jauch is professor and department chair at the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to medicine, Dr. Jauch received training in bioengineering at Cornell University. He completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati where he went on to complete his residency. After residency, Dr. Jauch went on to serve as faculty at the University of Cincinnati where he served on the stroke team. In 2008, he was recruited to MUSC and helped develop the residency program and assist in the creation of the Comprehensive Stroke Center and Telemedicine Program. Dr. Jauch is currently active in leading clinical trials in cerebrovascular emergencies.
