3 Teams Awarded Funding from Massey TBI Grand Challenge

On June 4th, the 2021 Massey TBI Grand Challenge came to a close with the Wolverine Den—a Shark Tank-style pitch session in which multidisciplinary research teams present their TBI solutions before an expert panel of neurointensivists, clinicians, entrepreneurs, business development specialists, and Department of Defense representatives.

Through the continued support of the Joyce and Don Massey Family Foundation, MCIRCC was able to offer its largest award amount to date. Up to $950,000 in funding was available this year to help teams turn their high-risk ideas into high-impact solutions.
